Interviewed by Audrey Weston on 8/2/2019.

Edward W. Wroblewski Jr. is a native of Hatfield, MA, and enlisted in the U.S. Air Force at age 19 after receiving his draft notice. He had finished one year of college. He did his basic training at Lackland Air Force Base, TX, and his specialized training at Lowry Air Force Base, CO.

Ed served as a bomb loader for two years at Yokota Air Force Base in Japan, with some TDYs (temporary duty assignments) to South Korea, before he volunteered to go to Vietnam. There he was stationed at Cam Ranh Bay for eight months with the 412 Munitions Maintenance Squadron, then at Da Nang for four months with the 366th MMS.

Ed was honorably discharged with the rank of Sergeant. He has been a member of the Hatfield American Legion Post 344 for close to 50 years.
